Javascript has been around for many years now. But with the explosive introduction of fantastic new frameworks like jQuery, MooTools and Prototype, there are some amazingly creative designers & developers out there that still find new and exciting ways to use it.
Here’s a list of five really great jQuery-powered sites I’ve seen recently. Feel free to leave a comment and let us know what other amazing sites you’ve seen around the web.

Great, big image slider on this one. And yes, it gets bigger when you enlarge the window. Way cool.

A grungy, yet super-clean site that makes great use of jQuery by powering their job search with it.

I love the kid playing with his dad. great image.
jQuery is beautiful. It fulfills many of the prior practices of Flash in terms of UI in web design.
