Javascript has been around for many years now. But with the explosive introduction of fantastic new frameworks like jQuery, MooTools and Prototype, there are some amazingly creative designers & developers out there that still find new and exciting ways to use it.

jQuery is beautiful. It fulfills many of the prior practices of Flash in terms of UI in web design.
