Design Snack: Voting Rules have been Changed

After a slew of unverified members registered and mass-down-voted quite a few sites, we’ve decided to change the way we allow votes to be made on the items on Design Snack. We are no longer going to allow voting for people who have not verified their email addresses.

Any and all votes that were cast using an “unverified” account were removed from the system this morning. Feel free to log into your verified account and recast your votes! We apologize if this causes any sort of inconvenience, but we strongly feel it’s for the best—for both item quality and a stronger community.

Thanks for your understanding!

Awesome news. It’s really sad that some designers feel the need to unfairly down-vote something so their designs look better. It’s getting to the point that every top design has a negative rating.

This is fantastic, Keeping the integrity of the votes is paramount making sure those who have the talent, and time to produce something of great quality get the exposure they deserver.

    Keep it up Guys!
