We quickly noticed after launch that if we are going to allow you to build a portfolio on Design Snack, your items should stay in it, even if they don’t receive the required positive feedback.
From here on out, when you add a portfolio item, it will stay in your portfolio. However, if it does not receive enough positive feedback to push it to the “Top Rated” section, it will simply “disappear” from the gallery — but still be viewable from your profile. When you link directly to your item’s detail page, you can be assured that the link won’t just stop working at some point because of a low score.
Hopefully, this will make a lot people very happy, as we’ve had some item deletions over the last 2 weeks that would have, and should have put this new system to good use. To those that lost their portfolio items due to low scoring, simply resubmit and they won’t be lost again. Promise!

My portfolio got removed again today for the 2 second time
Is it still in your portfolio?
Hi Justin,
Firstly, congratulations on putting together the latest, and very awesome, iteration of designsnack.com – it’s fabulous!
One thing though, I did add a couple of sites to my portfolio which have disappeared – one was actually “promoted” (thanks!) and I got points for it, but it’s still not showing! Should I resubmit? Do let me know!
Alex
Feel free to resubmit. We were having some problems in the early stages of the new site. We’re still ironing out the kinks, but your portfolio items shouldn’t be getting deleted anymore (even if they get removed from the gallery, they should still be in your portfolio).
